A fair price for a decent life
Fair Trade is an alternative to conventional trade whose approach is to use trade as a lever for development and reduction of inequalities, ensuring the fair compensation of producers. In addition to this economic perspective, there are ethical, social and environmental concerns.
Fair trade in both the North and South}
Agriculture and production in the North are not immune to the threats of the intensive model and conventional trade practices that respect neither humans nor their environment.
Today, BFTF is taking the step by developing, for the actors of the North, economic, social and environmental criteria such as those established by North / South fair trade actors.
